Brecklyn 1 Year Cake Smash

I am always amazed at how quickly the 1st year goes for the newborns I photograph.  I remember being contacted by Brecklyn's momma before she was born to set up a newborn session.  I remember doing a few newborn pics outside when she arrived for her 1st session as a newborn.  She slept SO peacefully outside and was such a sweet baby to work with!   FAST forward to 1 year later and momma contacts me to set up her 1 year Cake smash session.  

Brecklyn arrived and was hesitant at first.  We gave her time to explore and settle in before starting the session.  By the end.... we were all giggling and having fun!  As I sorted through her gallery, I noticed the gallery was larger than some others I have done in the past which just proves, that we were having fun and lost track of time!  

Mom mentioned her Birthday Theme is "Lemon" so of course, we had to end our time with a Lemon Bath.  Brecklyn wasn't sure what to think about the Cake Smash portion at first but quickly realized... she LOVES cake.   She loved her Cake, the lemons, the water AND the Baby Shark Song to bring out some smiles!  

I am so blessed to have clients that continue to support my small business and bring me such adorable babies throughout the year to photograph.  I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love each and every day!  Brecklyn was the 1st to use this adorable "Tree branch Tent" that my husband and I constructed.  I have a larger version for my Seniors and older kid clients, so I wanted to make sure to have this one for the little ones to use!  It can be decorated in numerous ways and I love that I can leave it outside to use on the property!
